These iPhone camo cases feature uncommon patterns, and come with textures for a more organic look. Great for military enthusiasts, hunters, hikers, and outdoor geeks.

Are you looking for a camo case cover for your new iPhone? Although there are thousands of designs available on the web and in online stores, you will be able to see only a small chunk – the ones that sell the best or the ones that are advertised.

It’s how algorithms work. When you use Google, same old bestselling camo designs show up in the main search, images, or shopping, no matter which key phrase you use.

It’s even worse in online stores. Try looking for iPhone camo case on Amazon. When you get through sponsored products, you will most probably see a bunch of duck hunting camo patterns in an endless number of variations.

Duck hunting camo patterns will show up at the top even if you are looking for “military camo iPhone case,” or “tactical camo iPhone case”. So sad.

Here is an alternative offer from a guy who calls himself a camo freak. I wanted to get a camo case for my iPhone 11 Pro, and I didn’t find a single case I would be willing to buy. The patterns were too boring, random, or plain ugly.

I ended up with Urban Armor Gear, and a determination to design the iPhone camo case I would be willing to buy myself.

So, in this post, you will have a unique chance to scroll through the cases designed by the guy who was disappointed with currently available camo designs, and offers an alternative.

They are available on Amazon, Zazzle, and Redbubble. They have no reviews and ratings, so it takes courage to give them a try. But you know my story. And you know the pain of searching for camo cases.

99,9% of iPhone camo cases feature a flat, very flat, extremely flat camouflage pattern. The thing is that when you think camo you think texture. A grunge, distressed, worn out, used feel of a battle tested camouflage materiel.

That’s why I created this vintage camo artwork. It recreates the look and feel of a classic camouflage patterns used in the 1940s and 1950s, and comes together with a photorealistic grunge worn out effect of a denim background.

As most cases in this list, the old, vintage WWII iPhone case is available in a few color combinations, including green and gray.

Note: Please note that the case is made from thermoplastic polyurethane plastic and not covered with a real denim fabric. The worn out denim effect is added deliberately.

Fading camo iPhone case

Who said the camo pattern should take the entire space of the object to make this object to be perceived as camo?

The answer is obviously “no,” so I decided to create a “fading camo,” where a classic camouflage pattern fades to black from top to bottom. And you know what? It works. It’s one of the few of my camo designs that sell without promotion.

Maybe it’s because users want to have a simple black iPhone case with just a hint of the style. And the fading camo offers just that. It’s suitable both for the everyday life and outdoor activities. Do you agree?

Above, you see the green variant, but the gray one is the most popular. And there are also brown and pink versions. Which one do you like the most?

iPhone case with East German Strichtarn inspired raindrop camo pattern

East German Strichtarn inspired raindrop camo

East German Strichtarn Camo design was used in East Germany (DDR) between the 1960s and 1990s. It inspired this grunge, old school camouflage pattern that I created from scratch. I modified the shapes of raindrops, as well as the density of the drops to make them work well on a small surface of a smartphone.

This East German Strichtarn inspired raindrop camouflage pattern comes together with a photographic background of a worn denim pattern. In other words: the denim is a photo not the actual material used to produce the case. Please keep it in mind.

The raindrop Strichtarn camo is available in a classic edition (a balanced brown-green color) and midnight black (which is a great alternative for people who got interested in the fading black camo featured in this post).

Ripped cargo camo pattern iPhone case

If you agree with the opinion that camo is all about the organic, used feel, you may like this camouflage pattern that looks like being made from ripped patches of fabric.

The idea came when I was thinking about a camo pattern that would be a good match for cargo pants and other camo-based urban apparel, where the fabric is the essence of the design. So, it’s not a tactical, combat camo pattern, but rather the one for the urban use.

Note: I used AI to create the pattern – a much better use of the artificial intelligence than just another flat camo randomly and carelessly put on an iPhone. Fun fact is that most of camo patterns published recently are created by AI.

The ripped cargo camo iPhone case is available in a couple of colors. Beware: I gave them fancy names: Spring Retreat Green (shown above), Urban Ride Gray, Summer Beach Blue, and Mountain Cabin Brown.

Polish Army Moro tiny camo iPhone case

If you asked me which of these iPhone camo cases I would buy personally, I would choose either the Swedish inspired camo (shown later in the list) or this one. When I was a little boy, I desperately wanted to have army pants with Polish Moro camo.

The camo you see is inspired by the standard Polish Army camo pattern called “Moro”. Moro was introduced back in 1968 (Kamuflaz wz. 68), and featured very tiny dark gray-green shapes on a gray background. No one really knows what purpose it served. From a distance the camo uniform was just a flat dark gray color.

Tiny camo patterns were favored by the former Communist Bloc countries. Besides Moro, Eastern Germany Strichtarn and Polish Deszczyk camo patterns were also very tiny. From a distance the camo was supposed to mask you the pattern was unrecognizable and not different from a plain color.

This camo pattern is available in a few colors, including gray and green.

Midnight stealth urban camo iPhone case

The purpose of a camo is to make you hardly recognizable. When it comes to black camo, I suppose it’s also to make the camo itself hardly recognizable.

And here it is: the Midnight Black camo that so subtle you can barely notice it. It’s almost like stealth tech: it’s there, although no one can see it. This particular camo pattern comes in a classic shape flow, and features blending and intersecting colors.

The Midnight Black camo iPhone case comes combined with a blended dot pattern, giving it an innovative look. At least this is what I wanted to achieve (and you may hardly see it).

The same camo pattern with blending and intersecting colors is used in a different color combination that I call “a summer urban camo”. The colors are beige, light olive, and warm brown.

iPhone spray painted tactical camo case

Have you ever though if painting a camo on your iPhone case by yourself? All you need is two cans of spray paint and a cheap case in light brown or army green.

And here is how a DIY spray painted camo iPhone case would look like. I painted the pattern in my graphic program, and spent a lot of time to manage the spaces and shapes. On one side, they should not be unrealistically tiny, but on the other side: not too large (you would not see the camo itself).

This particular spray painted camo pattern is inspired by WW2 colors and feel. I added an effect that makes it look like spray painted through a thin, dense net. What do you think of the effect?

The spray painted tactical camo iPhone case is available in two colors: brown (shown above) and green.

iPhone camo and orange matching case

Here is a camo case for users who are looking for a green-orange matching apparel and accessories. Matching orange with green and brown is a popular way to style the look and I wanted to offer something fresh.

As you have noticed, this is not a typical camo pattern. As a matter of fact, my goal was to create a hybrid between a classic camo, a composition notebook pattern, and Henri Matisse’s coral reef iconic shapes. I like it very much. Do you like it?

As I wrote in a product description: “This Camo and Orange camo iPhone case is designed to be a part of your orange dominated matching apparel and gear set”. It comes with a realistic fabric background because flat camo is so passe.

I my quest for organic feel in iPhone camo case design, I used AI again. This time, I briefed Midjourney to give me ideas of a realistic, vintage camo case design with wrinkles, pale colors, and visible signs of damage.

I wanted to recreate the look and feel of old school camouflage. The photorealistic texture of a fabric adds an extra layer of authentic feel.

This old school worn out iPhone camo case is available in a few colors, including green (shown above), blue, and black.

This Italian army inspired camo design is the one I’ve spent most time crafting and testing on an iPhone and other products. And I think it was worth the effort: the camo is rich but not messy, revealing enough structure and density to fit perfectly the palm sized iPhone case.

I crafted the design from scratch, but it’s inspired by the iconic Italian military camouflage called “Vegetato,” which reflected the shapes and colors of the Mediterranean flora and fauna.

This Italian / Mediterranean camo pattern iPhone case comes together with a realistic photo of an ripstop-like fabric, for an organic look.

You can choose from several color variants: Classic Green, Midnight Black, Summer Blue, and Urban Red. Which one do you like the most?

Are you a fan of the iconic Swedish M90 camouflage? I am. I love its bold, simplicity and a refreshing approach to colors.

It was inevitable I would design a Swedish camo inspired iPhone case. And here it is. The idea was to create an innovative looking design that combines the Swedish camo shapes with diagonal shapes seen in military aircraft camo painting.

I’ve added a detailed dot-and-line pattern overlay to bring an innovation feel. You can get the Swedish camo inspired iPhone case in four colors: green, gray, brown, and blue.

Bonus: Plain army green camo matching iPhone case

I realize how hard it may be to get the full gear and outfit in the same camo style. In fact, it’s rather impossible, unless you collect all the elements from the same producer.

Even if you are looking for such a common camo design as Woodland, you will never get the same pattern if you buy the elements of your gear from different sources. The color shades, the shades, and the pattern density, will surely be different.

Sometimes, it’s best to drop the idea of having the same-style camo, and go for something that is matching them all – a plain, army green color.

The one I’m offering is a bit modified. It’s warmer and a bit darker than the classic army green color, making it compatible with camo patterns that include browns, tans, and yellows.
